David Greeley, MD, FAAN

Dr. Greeley was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in music theory and history. He then went to the University of Washington School of Medicine, graduating in 1989.

After medical school he spent the next four years completing his internship and residency in Neurology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinic system in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Greeley completed a post-residency position as Honorary Assistant House Physician at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, England, where he gained additional qualifications in the care of patients with movement disorders.

Directly after training he moved to Spokane, Washington, to join a multi-specialty clinic where he worked as a general neurologist for six years as well as served as the first director of clinical research for the clinic.

He moved into private practice in Spokane in 1999 when he opened Northwest Neurological, PLLC. His goal was to develop a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to helping patients and caregivers with all neurological conditions.

Dr. Greeley is a Fellow in the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN) and is also involved in education and training of medical students as a Clinical Associate Professor in Neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Dr. Greeley continues to take care of patients throughout the whole field of outpatient neurology with a special interest in patients with movement disorders and dementia. He has been doing botulinum toxin injections for over 20 years to help patients with migraine, cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, writer's cramp, hemifacial spasm and spasmodic dysphonia.
