BIONIC BRAIN CLUB

The Parkinson's Resource Center of Spokane sponsors a monthly DBS Connect meeting. These meetings are targeted to current or prospective DBS patients and families who want to learn about this procedure. Held the 3rd Thursday of every month from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, at 613 S. Pedaling for Parkinson’s

Join a team of like-minded individuals to live better with Parkinson’s! Learn about Pedaling for Parkinson’s, a fast pedaling program at the Central YMCA. Exercise, once thought to be counter to the treatment of multiple sclerosis, has proven to be a vastly effective therapy to combat the potentially damaging effects of the disease. PowerForward is a prescription of exercise for adults diagnosed with a chronic illness, the elderly, or anyone who finds leaving their home difficult or impossible. Agility Training

Agility training classes for those with Parkinson's disease and/or movement disorders are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Touchmark Director of Fitness Lori McCormick, PT, CEEAA, leads this class and uses a combination of evidence-based exercises and strategies. Learn more about these classes.
